Rythu Bharosa (Agriculture Support)
- Annual Financial Aid: Farmers receive ₹12,000 per acre each year.
- Seasonal Payouts: The amount is split into two equal installments of ₹6,000 per acre for both the Kharif (monsoon) and Rabi (winter) seasons.
- Paddy Crop Bonus: An additional bonus of ₹500 per quintal is provided specifically for paddy production.
- Secondary Safety Nets: Registered farmers are linked to the Rythu Bima scheme, which offers a ₹5 lakh insurance coverage payout to nominees in the event of a farmer’s death.
Strict 2026 Eligibility Guidelines
Unlike its predecessor, the current scheme strictly enforces targeted eligibility rules to prevent the misuse of public funds:
Cultivable Land Only: Payouts are limited to active, arable farming plots verified through satellite mapping. Non-cultivable plots like real estate layouts, industrial zones, and fallow lands are excluded.
Land Registration: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana whose arable land is fully registered in the Bhu Bharati revenue portal. Recognition of Forest Rights (ROFR) landholders are also eligible.
Tenant and Landless Laborers: Registered tenant farmers holding a valid lease qualify for the support. Landless agricultural laborers receive ₹12,000 annually under a linked sub-program called the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme.
